About Us
Deeply rooted in the community, our team actively participates in local church events, livestock shows, and a variety of other community activities. We’re also engaged in the show industry, traveling and competing across the state.

L.J. Chachere
L.J. Chachere moved to Dayton in August of 1955, where he taught Ag in the Dayton school district until he opened Chachere Feed Store Inc., in Dayton in 1963. L.J was joined by two of his sons, Matt and Rob, and later by his grandson Brad in the business. L.J. passed away in the fall of 2016, however his legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren and the business he left behind.
Rob Chachere
Rob has three sons, Brad, Jonathan and Scott. He is a graduate from Sam Houston State University and enjoys attending livestock shows with his sons. Aside from this, he is involved with the Dayton FFA Sales Committee and is a Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church.
Matt Chachere
Matt has two daughters and a son, Leighton, Emma and Logan. Matt, too, is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, is a Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church, and is involved with the Dayton FFA Sales Committee. He also enjoys attending livestock shows with his children.
Brad Chachere
Brad has one son, Stockton, and is a graduate of Sam Houston State University. He was a member of the 2009 Livestock Judging Team at Sam, and now enjoys judging shows and attending livestock shows.
